William M. Hancock, a native of Decatur, Alabama, earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama in 1998. He attended the University of Alabama School of Law and received his J.D. degree in 2002. Mr. Hancock practices in Commercial Litigation, Creditor Rights, Bankruptcy, Banking Law, Foreclosure and Landlord/Tenant Law. Mr. Daniel was born in Huntsville, Alabama and is a third generation Huntsville High School graduate. Larry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1990 and attended Jones School of Law at Faulkner University receiving his J.D. degree in 1997. While in law school, Mr. Daniel was a member of Sigma Delta Kappa legal fraternity and recipient of awards in Moot Court competition as well as trial advocacy.

Mr. Daniel served as Assistant District Attorney for Madison County, Alabama until joining the firm in 2003. He is a member of the firm's Real Estate Department where his primary focus of practice includes real estate lending, residential and commercial transactions along with real estate construction and development matters. Mr. Daniel represents the majority of the major lenders in the North Alabama Southern Tennessee market. He is an agent for Old Republic and Fidelity Title Insurance companies and routinely issues owners and lenders policies on both commercial and residential property. Mr. Daniel received the rating of “AV Preeminent”, the highest rating available for professional excellence, ethics and ability, from judges and peers as reviewed by Martindale Hubbell.

Mr. South was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in 2000. He attended the University of Alabama School of Law and received his J.D. degree in 2003. Mr. South is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County, Birmingham and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Alabama State Bar.

Before joining the firm, Mr. South worked as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Scott J. Vowell in the Jefferson County Circuit Court and then began practicing insurance defense law in the Birmingham area. Zach was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree in History from Birmingham-Southern College in 2011, and was a Harrison Honors Scholar. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate in 2014 from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Zach was on the managing board of the Alabama Law Review, and was a member of the school's ABA National Moot Court competition team and Campbell Moot Court Board. Since joining the firm in 2014, Zach has litigated cases across the state involving personal injury, trucking accidents, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, workers' compensation, breach of contract, and real estate litigation. In his first jury trial, Zach's trial team secured a $4.1 million dollar verdict against the State of Alabama after the state used its power of eminent domain to seize private property from a family in Limestone County without just compensation.

In 2017, Zach was inducted into the National Trial Lawyers, "Top 40 under 40," for Civil Plaintiff Attorneys in Alabama. He has also been selected as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers. He is an active member of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association and the Alabama Association for Justice. Zach lives in Athens with his wife, Marie, and four children, Theodore, Adelaide, Rose and Rigby. Zach and his family attend church at Valley Presbyterian Church in Madison, where Zach serves as a deacon.

Before joining the firm in 2014, Zach's work experience included his time serving as a judicial intern for U.S. District Judge R. David Proctor, as well as a law clerk for the Madison County District Attorney's Office.

Brian Williams joined the firm in 2019 after retiring from the City of Huntsville with over 32 years of service; the first 18 years as an Police Officer and Investigator for the Huntsville Police Department and over 14 years as a Prosecutor and Assistant City Attorney for the Huntsville City Attorney’s Office. He is proud addition and current member of the Wolfe Jones Real Estate Department.

Brian is a lifelong resident of the City of Huntsville and a graduate of Grissom High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Sciences from Jacksonville State University in 1986. One of his proudest achievements was earning his Juris Doctorate degree from the Birmingham School of Law while working as a criminal investigator for the City of Huntsville. While in law school he was a member of Sigma Delta Kappa legal fraternity. Based on his past law enforcement and legal experience, Brian has also been appointed by both Governors Robert Bentley and Kay Ivey as Legal Counsel to the Alabama Board of Polygraph Examiners.

Gary P. Wolfe was born in Birmingham, Alabama and attended undergraduate school at Auburn University and Jacksonville State University. Mr. Wolfe graduated from Birmingham School of Law having received American Jurisprudence Awards for Academic Excellence in the study of Commercial Paper, Bailments, Wills and Criminal Law and was named the Sigma Delta Kappa Outstanding Student of the Year.

Admitted to practice in 1980, he served as corporate counsel to Fortune 500 companies in Birmingham, Alabama, and Denver, Colorado, until returning to the private practice of law in 1996. With over 35 years' experience in business law, Mr. Wolfe is active in Commercial Litigation, Commercial Transactions; Contract Law and is committed to the financial community in the advocacy of Creditor Rights issues. He is a member of the Commercial Law League, INSOL International and is admitted to practice before all state courts in Alabama, US District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.

Keith Samuel Jones was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended undergraduate school at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, graduating in 1977. He attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and received his J.D. degree in 1980. In 1983, Mr. Jones co-founded the law firm of Wolfe Jones along with his partner and friend, R. Wayne Wolfe. For decades, Mr. Jones practiced real estate and business law, including commercial and residential loan closings, property divisions, foreclosures, leases, and banking law. Mr. Jones retired from the practice of law in 2016 and soon thereafter obtained his real estate license and sold real estate with Re/Max Unlimited in Huntsville. Mr. Jones was a long-time member of the church of Christ at Park City where he loved serving as a song leader.

Mr. Jones passed away in 2021. His presence, intellect, and compassion will be dearly missed by those that were fortunate to know him.

R. Wayne Wolfe or "Wayne" to those who know him well, was born in Birmingham, Alabama and attended undergraduate school at Auburn University and University of North Alabama, graduating with High Honors in 1975. He attended Birmingham School of Law graduating in 1979, having received Jurisprudence awards for excellence in trial advocacy.

He was admitted to practice in September, 1979, and began litigating matters involving trial in insurance defense and commercial law. In 1983, Wayne and Keith Jones founded the law firm of Wolfe Jones. In his many years as a trial attorney, Wayne won several high-profile trials and recovered millions on behalf of his clients. Wayne also served as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Madison for years prior to his retirement in 2017.

During his practice, Wayne was an active member of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association; American Bar Association; Alabama State Bar (Chairman: Workers Compensation Section); Association of Trial Lawyers of America; Alabama Trial Lawyers Association (Executive Board 1989-1997); County Bar Association. He was also admitted to practice before all state courts in Alabama; United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama; Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals; Supreme Court of the United States of America. Wayne was also certified as a Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and was selected by his peers to be included in THE BEST LAWYERS OF AMERICA.
